Million Voices for Darfur - Please add your voice
The massive atrocity in Darfur continues to unfold, but Americans can at least take some pride in the fact that on Sunday, April 30, there was a major rally in Washington DC calling for serious international action to halt this slow-motion genocide. Some reports about the rally and related news can be found on the website of the Save Darfur coalition.
In addition to organizing this demonstration, the Save Darfur coalition has been trying to get a million people to sign an appeal to the US government demanding action against the Darfur atrocity. So far, this campaign has obtained over 750,000 signatures.
=> If you were not able to participate in the Save Darfur rally on April 30, please sign up as a "virtual marcher" to register your protest against the Darfur atrocity and the world's failure to stop it--and pass along this appeal to other people. You can sign up either either directly on the Save Darfur website or through MoveOn.org.

By joining the "virtual march" we're affirming this simple statement:--Jeff Weintraub
Congress and President Bush must support an international force to protect the civilians of Darfur and end the genocide -- now.
