Since 2003 over two million people have been driven from their homes and more than 200,000 have died since ethnic tensions have exploded into government sanctioned ethnic cleansing in the Darfur region of Sudan. Neither intervention from the United Nations nor internal ceasefire has inspired lasting peace.
