Darfur Symposium at UPenn - Thursday, March 1, 2007

This symposium at the University of Pennsylvania is open to the public and looks very promising, so those of you who live in the Philadelphia area might consider attending. Since 2003 over two million people have been driven from their homes and more than 200,000 have died since ethnic tensions have exploded into government sanctioned ethnic cleansing in the Darfur region of Sudan. Neither intervention from the United Nations nor internal ceasefire has inspired lasting peace.
