P.S. And here is ANOTHER VIDEO with an even more amazing display of undying true love between human and mega-feline (passed on to me by my friend Magali Sarfatti Larson). This is a male lion in the Cali, Colombia zoo--gigantic, as male lions are--with a woman who rescued him years ago from abuse in a traveling circus and, apparently, visits him every day. (In this version you can hear them talking to each other.)
Does this show that the story of Androcles and the lion was actually true?
