"Jerusalem, Sababa Bien" - Chilean Zionist rap video makes a small plea for sanity
As the ever-informative Jeffrey Goldberg puts it, here is "Yet Another Chilean Zionist Rap Containing the Word 'Manichaean'". (More precisely, Chileno-Israeli.) Along the way, it gently satirizes hysterical anti-Zionism, pervasive anti-semitic stereotypes, and obsessive demonization of Israel in general.
"Jerusalem, Sababa Bien" is part of the refrain. As far as I know, this "sababa" is not a Spanish word, but an Israeli slang term meaning, roughly, "cool." Anybody out there know better?
Anyway, this video clip is pretty cool.
Shalom,
Jeff Weintraub
